Current Responsibilities
Karen leads a team of product managers dedicated to the development of the company's core online legal products. Her expertise lies in customer-centric, insight-driven product development, ensuring that the products meet the evolving needs of their users. Recently, Karen spearheaded the launch of Lexis+ UK, a next-generation platform for legal research, guidance, and news in the UK. Additionally, she led the introduction of Lexis+ AI, an innovative suite of Generative AI capabilities designed to enhance the core legal products offered by LexisNexis.
Experience prior to LexisNexis
Before joining LexisNexis, Karen amassed extensive experience in the legal publishing industry, spanning over 30 years. She initially worked at Thomson Reuters in content and commissioning roles. Over the past 26 years at LexisNexis, Karen has held various positions, including content creation and commissioning, market segment strategy, online publishing, and new product development. Her diverse experience and deep industry knowledge have been instrumental in her success at LexisNexis.
Other hobbies/areas of interest
Outside of her professional life, Karen is passionate about music, singing, playing the piano, and fostering a love for cooking, spending her free time experimenting with new recipes. Additionally, she is an avid sports fan, with a particular interest in football.
