Anisa Kassamali

Anisa was called to the Bar in 2020 and practises at Temple Garden Chambers. She maintains a practise in both private and public law matters.

Before coming to the Bar, Anisa qualified as a solicitor and was at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP from 2017 – 2020. She primarily worked on public inquiries and public law disputes.

Anisa was the judicial assistant to Lord Sales at the UK Supreme Court for the legal year 2020 – 2021. She advised on the merits of appeals and prepared articles / speeches on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to planning law.

Anisa is contributing the chapter on the principles of negligence to Binghams’ Personal Injury and Motor Claims Cases (2023).
