Tom Birch Reynardson
Tom Birch Reynardson has specialised in shipping litigation, international trade and international arbitration since joining international maritime firm HFW in 1980.
He has been involved in a very large number over one thousand matters advising clients a wide range of clients. Many of the cases he has handled have been reported, perhaps the most well known being the Antclizo case involving the issue of abandonment of arbitration which involved the House of Lords on two occasions and also the Supreme Court in India. In the House of Lords he also handled the Good Luck case and another case in the Privy Council involving ship arrest in the Bahamas.
In 2007 he founded Birch Reynardson & Co, a boutique firm specialising in international arbitration. The firm has thrived by focusing on straightforward solutions to complex issues. Tom increasingly offers his services as arbitrator where he focuses on speedy and cost effective dispute resolution.
