Ashleigh Wong
Ashleigh is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team at Gardner Leader.
She obtained a 2.1 BSc (Hons) degree in Pharmacology at Newcastle University, before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law at Northumbria University, and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Manchester. Ashleigh qualified as a Solicitor in June 2016.
Ashleigh specialises in contested probate and deals with challenges on the validity of wills, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims and disputes arising during the administration of trusts and estate.
Prior to joining Gardner Leader, Ashleigh specialised in Insurance Fraud, reporting to large insurer clients on high value, complex cases involving staged claims, fraud rings and professional enablers in the industry. Ashleigh also has experience in commercial acquisitions and residential property having trained in-house at Taylor Wimpey.
Ashleigh is a Law Tutor with Cilex Law School, helping young people into the legal profession. She has a particular interest in modules including Level 6 Legal Research, Client Care and CPQ Foundation Professional and Legal Skills.
Ashleigh was shortlisted as Corporate Volunteer of the year as part of the 2019-2020 Partnership Awards for IntoUniversity; a charity working with over 40,000 young people from deprived backgrounds across the UK.
