Nadine qualified as a solicitor in South Africa in 2000 and joined the LexisPSL Restructuring & Insolvency team in October 2022 after almost 14 years as a member of Gateley Legal’s complex and international recovery team.
 
She has experience in all aspects of contentious insolvency and asset recovery work including dealing with high value multi-jurisdictional MTIC fraud claims, tax avoidance schemes, antecedent transactions, misfeasance, wrongful trading and fraudulent trading.
 
Highlights include:
 
·       Advising liquidators of a football club in relation to various complex priority issues, particularly in relation to the nature of security held by certain creditors and the priority rights claimed by them
·       Advising the former administrators and provisional liquidators of a cargo airline company during its provisional liquidation and liquidation periods
·       Assisting with investigations on behalf of a foreign government in respect of high value and complex fraud claims arising from the demise of a foreign financial institution
·       Obtaining final relief against third parties for payment of significant sums arising from their participation in MTIC frauds
·       Advising liquidators in relation to defective tax avoidance schemes
