Tony Budidjaja

Tony Budidjaja has more than 26 years standing as a legal counsel with extensive experience and expertise in Commercial Dispute Resolution (both in Indonesia and overseas). He has extensive experience and expertise in international trade, insurance and shipping law. He is one of the few legal practitioners in Indonesia who is qualified as both capital market legal consultant and tax court attorney. Tony Budidjaja has successfully handled some of the most high-profile and complex matters, including those involving international and government clients.

Tony Budidjaja is an accredited advocate, mediator, and arbitrator. Tony Budidjaja is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Fellow of The Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (FSIArb), and Fellow of Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (FAIADR). Tony Budidjaja is registered as a mediator and arbitrator in a number of institutions providing/mediating and arbitration services both in Indonesia and abroad: International Chamber of Commerce (ICC); China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC); Singapore Chamber for Maritime Arbitration (SCMA); Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC); the Indonesian Commodities Arbitration (BAKTI); and OJK's Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution for Financial Service Sector (LAPS-SJK).  

Tony Budidjaja is also listed in the panel of mediators in numerous district courts in Indonesia such as the District Court of Central Jakarta, District Court of South Jakarta, District Court of Denpasar and District Court of Batam. Tony Budidjaja is also a Chairman of the Indonesian Academy of Independent Mediator and Arbitrator (MedArbId) and member of professional associations, such as: Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM) and Asia Pacific Forum for International Arbitration (AFIA). Tony Budidjaja is one of the founders of Indonesian Institute for Conflict Transformation (IICT), and the Indonesia Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)
