Amber’s media law practice encompasses reputation management claims relating to defamation, misuse of private information and data protection for private individuals, high net worth clients and companies. She has experience working in both pre- and post-publication scenarios in relation to both national and international press inquiries and publications. She has acted for clients at the High Court, Court of Appeal and in proceedings before the UK Supreme Court.
 
Amber’s data protection practice regularly involves invoking a client’s “right to be forgotten”; including from the initial stages of seeking removal of information from internet search engines, to bringing complaints against processors, to bringing complaints to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
 
Amber also has experience in commercial litigation and international law. Her international law practice focuses on international arbitration where she has assisted on a complex claim under the ICSID rules, public international law and human rights. Her experience in international dispute resolution involves multi-jurisdictional claims.
