Nathalie has a strong involvement in the arbitration institutions: She is an immediate past Vice President of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and was also the president of the European User's Council of the LCIA. She is also an immediate past board member of the Swiss Arbitration Association and of the Board of the Vienna International Arbitration Chamber (VIAC). She is also a past member of the board of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC). She is currently a Swiss delegate in the ICC Arbitration and ADR Commission, a member of the Users' Council of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and of the Panel of Arbitrators of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). In 1988, Nathalie Voser graduated summa cum laude from the University of Basel and was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 1990. In 1992, she became a juris doctor with summa cum laude and earned an LL.M. from Columbia University (New York) in 1994 with honors. In 2005, she received the venia docendi for private law, conflicts of laws and comparative law and, in 2014, she was awarded the title of Professor in private law, arbitration law, private international law and comparative law (Titularprofessur) by the University of Basel, where she regularly teaches courses in commercial arbitration and other areas of Swiss private law.
