Cathy McFadden specialises in commercial real estate across a wide range of sectors including retail, hospitality, logistics, veterinary and healthcare. Cathy’s practice is typically focused on site acquisition, development and disposal, investment acquisitions and disposals, property-based finance and commercial landlord and tenant with a special focus improving the environmental performance of the built environment.
Acutely aware that the climate change crisis is one of the most pressing macrotrends in the property sector, Cathy is passionate about delivering solutions to help clients improve the social impact of their business and properties by focusing on ‘Green’ clauses with a view to decarbonise the sector.
Cathy is a multijurisdictional solicitor qualified to practise in Ireland, Northern Ireland and England and Wales. Having completed her legal training in Northern Ireland, Cathy started her career and grew her practice in England before returning to Ireland in 2017 where she has practised since.
