Niamh qualified as a barrister in 2022, having obtained a First Class Honours in Law and Politics at the University of Limerick in 2021 and going on to study the Barrister-at-Law Degree at the Honourable Society of the Kings Inns in after completing her undergraduate studies. 
 
During the course of her legal studies, Niamh took up employment at a medium sized general practice solicitors firm in a secretarial and legal executive capacity and has a knowledge of financial services, land and conveyancing, litigation, family law and probate.
 
As a barrister, Niamh operates a general civil practice and provides services in family law and criminal law also. She has worked on a number of large profile cases including but not limited to the areas of medical negligence and personal injuries cases since qualification and has assisted in a number of Central Criminal Court cases.
