Country Head Legal, ABN AMRO

Alex has been the Country Head Legal for ABN AMRO UK since 2014. He is responsible for all the ABN AMRO branches and subsidiaries in the UK and advises on the full range of legal issues that affect the UK operations with a particular focus on financial services regulatory matters. He led ABN AMRO’s Brexit project and also acted as the ad interim UK HR Director for a period. Prior to joining ABN AMRO he was a Technical Specialist in the Legal Directorate at the Bank of England. He originally trained and qualified in the Banking department at Allen & Overy in London and Amsterdam.
