Will Holmes
Will specialises in intellectual property and media law. He advises on all types of soft intellectual property rights, with a particular interest in copyright matters. Will provides advice on dispute resolution, the protection and exploitation of IP, and licensing. He works with a broad range of clients, including authors, video game developers and museums, as well as clients in the life sciences and food and drink sectors. He is particularly interested in the publishing industry and rights acquisition and exploitation in film, TV and video games.
Will has experience in litigating at all levels, as well as advising on regulatory IP and advertising issues. Will is a member of The British Literary and Artistic Copyright Association.
Will graduated with a first class honours degree in English from the University of Exeter before completing the GDL and LPC with distinction at BPP Law School. From 2017-2019, he trained at Sidley Austin LLP and qualified there as a solicitor in September 2019, into the Regulatory IP Life Sciences group. Will joined Hansel Henson in May 2020.
