Bella’s mixed intellectual property and data protection experience means her practice naturally centres on helping clients in technology-focused sectors to strategise so they can commercialise their IP and data, whilst still maintaining a high level of data protection governance. Recently, Bella’s practice has focused significantly in the area of artificial intelligence, supporting clients to assess IP, data and commercial implications and opportunities when using AI tools in their organisation. Bella’s work includes advising clients in relation to strengthening IP and data positions in contracts; advising on data protection compliance when developing, procuring or acquiring new technologies and developing robust intellectual property and data governance strategies.
