Louis Solomon
Louis specialises in defending various professionals and their organisations (as well as their London market insurers) against claims for professional negligence. He has experience in acting for a varied client base including large insurance firms, directors & officers, brokers, manufacturers, developers, law firms and higher and further educational institutions in the UK and internationally.
He advises on both liability and coverage issues facing insurer clients and their insureds, from companies facing complex litigation in non-UK jurisdictions through to London market insurers dealing with disputed declinatures and interpretation of the Insurance Act in addressing business interruption claims.
He was also previously seconded to the Reinsurance Claims & Special Projects team of a major international insurance firm where he handled various reinsurance claims related to business interruption, property risk, casualty, and professional indemnity.
Away from non-construction professionals and their insurers, Louis also has previously acted for clients in significant property risk liability and coverage claims.
