Matt is a Senior Associate in Osborne Clarke's regulatory disputes team advising clients on regulatory compliance and risk with a particular focus on health & safety and anti-bribery & corruption.

Matt qualified as a solicitor in 2017 following extensive experience as a litigation paralegal and was admitted as a Higher Courts Advocate (Criminal) in 2021.

Matt advises global businesses on best practice and governance structures in relation to a range of compliance issues including health and safety, bribery and corruption, modern slavery as well as providing specific support on individual regulatory risk issues.

Matt also supports clients with crisis management following an incident or contact from a regulator. This support extends through any investigations conducted by regulators as well as any potential formal proceedings including inquests and corporate criminal prosecutions.

He has extensive experience advising clients on investigations by a variety of regulators including the Health and Safety Executive, Local Authorities, Water Undertakers, the Serious Fraud Office, the Environment Agency and the Competition and Markets Authority.

Matt works with clients across the OC sectors but particularly in Media and Entertainment, Energy and Utilities, and Construction/ Real estate. He has previously undertaken secondments with Barratt Developments Plc and ITV Plc.
