Caroline Hibberd
Caroline is a managing associate in the international arbitration and commercial litigation department. She acts for a wide range of international and leading regional corporates, financial institutions, high-net worth individuals/families, and quasi government/governmental entities on complex cross-border and high-value disputes, with a focus on fraud, asset recovery and financial litigation. She advises clients throughout the Middle East, UK, Europe, and Asia.
She advises clients across a range of industries including financial services, technology, construction, oil and gas, life sciences, media and entertainment, sports, and private wealth.
Caroline frequently handles cases before the DIFC Courts and has significant experience acting on complex commercial litigation matters before the English High Court. She also coordinates the strategy for claims in the onshore UAE Courts.
In addition, she has acted on numerous arbitration matters before local and international centres, including the ICC, DIAC, LCIA, HKIAC, UNCITRAL and ICSID, which have been seated in various jurisdictions such as the UAE, Paris, London and Hong Kong.
Caroline's was shortlisted as 'Arbitration Lawyer of the Year' at the LexisNexis Middle East Women in Law Awards in 2023.
