Liam is a partner in the Pensions Team at Burness Paull LLP. He joined the firm as a trainee in 2011 and qualified into the Pensions Team in 2013, having spent a year there as a trainee.
 
He advises employers, trustees and providers on every aspect of UK pensions law and is a director of the firm’s independent trustee company.
 
He has particular expertise in the employer debt regime, resolving documentation and equalisation issues, complaints and disputes, the pensions aspects of corporate transactions, scheme de-risking strategies and wind-up journeys and the pensions and regulatory implications of corporate insolvencies and restructurings.
