Promit joined Maitland in September 2024 following the successful completion of his pupillage. He is developing a broad commercial chancery practice and accepts instructions across all of Chambers’ practice areas, including Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration, Civil Fraud, Company and Partnership, Restructuring and Insolvency, Trusts, and Property.

Before transferring to the Bar, Promit was a solicitor-advocate and has worked at magic circle law firms in London and Singapore.
