Deirdre Haugh

Deirdre Haugh is a financial services regulatory partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Her practice focusses on UK and EU financial services regulation and fund matters. She works with a number of leading global private fund sponsors and, in particular, has extensive experience advising private equity, credit and real estate fund sponsors on a wide range of regulatory matters, including in connection with structuring, capital raising, deployment, restructuring/secondaries and operational matters. She provides regulatory advice on some of the market’s most complex M&A, private equity and restructuring transactions involving the financial services sector. Deirdre’s work also includes advising on the establishment and operation of UK FCA authorised firms as well as providing full-service compliance advice on financial services regulation. Deirdre is recognised as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ by The Legal 500 UK (2021–25).
