Adam is a solicitor in the planning and compulsory purchase team, having trained and qualified with the firm in 2023. He has particular experience advising in relation to renewable energy projects, town and village green and common land. 

Adam has advised on both onshore and offshore aspects of development consent order applications for offshore windfarms. This included advising on the environmental impact assessment and habitats regulation assessments process, land acquisition and commercial negotiation with statutory undertakers. 

Adam has advised claimants in statutory review proceedings in relation to proposed renewable energy and transportation developments.

Adam has advised local authorities in relation to obtaining compulsory purchase orders to enable highways and urban regeneration projects. This included advising in relation to the consultations, public inquiries as well as the implementation of the orders.  

Adam has advised developers making applications to deregister and carry out works on common land and has provided strategic advice for landowners and statutory undertakers in relation to town and village greens. 

Adam has also spent time working in house on secondment in the legal team of a major energy company.
