Tomos Lewis
Tomos is a commercial lawyer specialising in general commercial law, public procurements law, projects, information technology, sports law, data protection and information governance, public law, Welsh law and Welsh language law.
Tomos regularly advises clients in the public and private sector on a range of commercial and public law issues. This includes advising clients on complex national procurements, from inception to awarding the contract, and tackling any challenges along the way. He also advises clients on drafting and negotiating high value services and supplies contracts, information technology arrangements, including software licensing, support and hosting arrangements as well as advising clients in relation to data protection and information governance arrangements.
Tomos advises a broad range of clients in the public and private sector, including national governments, local authorities, NHS bodies in Wales and England, charities, not for profit organisations, statutory bodies and private companies (from SMEs to large multi-national organisations and investment funds). He also advises athletes, clubs and national governing bodies in the sport sector.
Tomos is a non-executive director with Welsh Gymnastics, the national governing body for gymnastics in Wales, and is the organisation’s legal and governance director advising the board on a wide range of legal, policy and governance issues. He is also a judicial panel chair for both Swim England and British University and Colleges Sports (BUCS).
