Miriam Everett
Miriam is a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP with 15 years' experience in data and communications regulation. She leads the firm's data protection and privacy practice and advises on complex issues in this highly regulated area.
As well as providing advice to clients, Miriam is involved in the firm's thought leadership, including analysis of legal and industry developments and their impact for the benefit of both clients and our practice. She is responsible for devising and delivering external training, client seminars and webinars and drafting ebulletins and other legal know-how materials for external and internal use.
Miriam has been tracking the GDPR since it was first proposed by the European Commission in January 2012 and has been providing training and advice to numerous clients regarding their preparation for this significant reform of the current data protection regulatory regime in Europe.
