Jonathan Glasson
Jonathan Glasson practises in a broad range of civil and criminal work. His practice includes human rights, public law, asylum, extradition, mutual assistance, international law, product liability, clinical negligence as well as Inquests and Inquiries.
In February 2007 Jonathan was appointed Attorney General's A Panel of Counsel to the Crown. He is recommended as a leading junior in Chambers and Partners and in the Legal 500.
Jonathan has been instructed on a wide range of international cases, including cases in the Russian Federation, Switzerland, Cyprus and the Czech Republic. Jonathan has acted as a Special Advocate in the Special Immigration Appeals Commission as well as before the Parole Board. Since 2002 he has been instructed by the Secretary of State in a significant number of national security cases. Jonathan has also acted in a wide range of product liability and clinical negligence cases, including CJD, BSE and the Northwick Park Clinical Trials.
Jonathan is a contributing editor to the Butterworth's Personal Injury Litigation Service and is the joint author (with Julian B Knowles) of Blackstone's Guide to the Coroners and Justice Act 2009.
