Barry Gross
Barry has broad experience in all aspects of commercial property with particular emphasis on complex multi-disciplinary transactions with significant real estate assets including complex acquisitions or restructurings of real estate holdings and mergers and acquisitions of real estate intensive enterprises.
Barry's specialisms include data centres, self-storage and insolvency. Barry is at the forefront on the impact of technology on the real estate and legal sectors and is a co-founder of Swiftagree, a contract negotiation platform.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Barry recently advised:
· Rontec Investments LLP - a joint venture between Heron International, Investec Bank and Grovepoint Capital on the asset acquisition of the UK downstream and marketing business from Total including in excess of 700 petrol filling stations and an oil distribution network.
· Lloyds Banking Group - on the creation of the Residential Asset Management Platform, an innovative arrangement whereby Grainger plc acts as asset manager on residential property portfolios over which the bank has exercised its security and appointed administrators or receivers.
· Investec Argo Property Fund - on all aspects of its property portfolio including acquisitions, disposals, asset management and corporate structurings
· Aviva Investors - as lead relationship partner for both Aviva Investors and Aviva Investors Real Estate Finance businesses.
