Steve Holland

Steve has 30 years' experience in insurance. He started his career in corporate insurances for large international companies but then specialised in professional indemnity for the traditional professions. Since the market for solicitors professional indemnity became commercial in 2000, Steve has concentrated solely on the legal profession. He advises some of the largest international law firms on their professional indemnity requirements and associated covers.

He is responsible for product development and has designed one of the widest professional indemnity wordings in the market. In addition he has helped designed new products to protect the personal assets of members and partners in law firms from catastrophic negligence claims, as well as regulatory insurances to protect the COLP and COFA from SRA investigations. Steve co-chairs the Solicitors Practice Group which focuses on all aspects of service delivery for Lockton to the legal profession.
