Lenka Krutakova
Lenka is the Head of the CMS competition practice in the Czech Republic and a key member of the public procurement team in the Czech Republic. She specialises in advising contracting authorities, suppliers and banks in connection with the Czech Public Procurement Act and PPP projects and deals with various competition law issues. Lenka has a substantial amount of expertise in infrastructure, as well as broader projects, in various sectors in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Kosovo, Croatia and other CEE/SEE countries. In the field of competition and compliance she has been advising numerous clients in connection with the merger clearances, leniency, competition disputes and bid rigging issues, provided dawn raid support, including the staff training and drafting the guidelines.
Before working at law firms, Lenka worked as a head of the European and International Law Unit of the Czech Ministry for Regional Development where she participated in drafting the Czech Act on Public Contracts. Lenka represented the Czech Republic at the Government Procurement Committee of the World Trade Organization. She was also a member of the Committee of the Government Deputy empowered to represent the Czech Republic before the European Court of Justice in the area of public procurement and concessions.
Lenka has also acted as a certified lecturer of the Czech Ministry for Regional Development for the area of public contracts and concessions and delivers lectures on public procurement, competition and other regulatory topics. She is the co-author of the commentary to the Czech Public Contract Act. Lenka has been admitted to the bar since 2008.
