Claire Mackey
Claire specialises in contentious intellectual property matters, with a focus on trade marks and designs. She trained at Simmons & Simmons and qualified in September 2006. She moved to Marks & Clerk Solicitors in 2011 and spent five years at the firm before joining the Lexis®PSL IP team. In the course of her career in private practice, she regularly advised clients in a variety of sectors in relation to trade mark and design infringement issues and customs detention strategy. She has experience of conducting litigation before the High Court and Court of Appeal, and also of undertaking alternative dispute resolution procedures including mediation and arbitration. On the non-contentious side, she has advised clients on co-existence and licensing matters.
