Keith Mathieson

Keith is the head of RPC's media team and leads the Privacy/Information group. He has advised on libel, privacy, data protection disputes and other claims against the media for over 20 years. He is instructed on a regular basis by leading media and technology organisations, on many of the most high profile issues that arise. He also acts for a number of media liability insurers. Keith is the principal author and editor of The Privacy Law Handbook (Law Society Publishing, 2011) and has contributed to The Freedom of Information Handbook, 3rd edition (Law Society Publishing, 2012). In January 2013 he was named as one of The Lawyer Magazine's 'Hot 100', and he is described in the directories as 'hugely impressive', 'exceptional', 'vastly experienced' and 'brilliant with clients'.
