Paul Matthews, BCL, LLD
Paul Matthews is a Consultant at Withers LLP, a visiting professor at King's College London and from 2002 to 2016 he was HM Coroner for the City of London. He is a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts: Civil), a Recorder (Civil), and a Deputy Master of the High Court (Chancery Division).
He advises on trust litigation, offshore and international litigation (especially trusts), Jersey law, commercial litigation and judicial review, wills and trusts, commercial trusts and other fiduciary arrangements.
Paul Matthews contributed to Hill and Redman's Law of Landlord and Tenant (18th Edn) and co-authored Underhill & Hayton's Law of Trusts and Trustees (17th Edn). He was co-editor of Butterworths Business Landlord and Tenant Handbook (4th Edn).
Paul Matthews was a Consultant for the Coroners title, the Cremation and Burial title and the Mistake title for the Fifth Edition of Halsbury's Laws of England.
