Adrian Maxwell

Adrian Maxwell is a barrister in St John's Chambers in Bristol and London. He practices in serious crime and regulatory matters. He defends and prosecutes in all courts and specialises in fraud, money laundering, confiscation and complex crime. He is classified as a Leading Advocate in the VHCC scheme. He advises and acts in all regulatory and disciplinary arenas. He is a Legal Adviser to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). He was Standing Council to PostComm the postal regulator. He was a founder member and first chairman of the South West Fraud Forum (SWFF). He has an overseas practice and has lectured on the UK fraud regime in Moscow and Brussels. He was a police detective in London retiring after 24 years as a Detective Inspector at the Serious Fraud Office. He read law at Oxford as a Bramshill Scholar.
