Gareth Miller

Gareth is Cornwall Insight's Chief Executive and has worked in the energy sector in a variety of client, transaction, investment and project roles, first as head of energy project finance for a major bank and latterly as a policy advisor to DECC focusing on designing policy to enhance investment into the UK energy sector. At Cornwall Insight, Gareth has:

• Led the evolution and expansion of the Cornwall Insight business
• Authored a key report for DECC on the credit and collateral arrangements in the GB energy market
• Advised numerous clients on the operating of the GB energy sector, including several international players in the market

Gareth has deep knowledge of the commercial landscape and investment aspects of the energy industry. His experience includes commercial due diligence and lead negotiation, investment appraisal, and energy policy development and evaluation. As well as extensive work in the UK, he has international experience in the Irish, Italian and South African energy markets.
