Mark qualified in 2003 and is a senior associate in Squire Patton Boggs’ Restructuring & Insolvency practice based in the Manchester office. With over 11 years’ post qualification experience, his particular expertise covers commercial and legal issues involved in corporate recovery, turnaround and reconstruction, and insolvency law. Mark advises on all formal insolvency processes and has considerable experience in advising on the sale or purchase of distressed businesses and assets, and large-scale property portfolios, and has been instructed to act in several insolvencies in the healthcare sector. Mark also advises on cross-border transactions, solvent restructures, pensions and property-related insolvency issues, as well as advising directors on trading and solvency issues. Mark has prepared several cases for court ranging from complex recovery claims to injunctive relief proceedings, in addition to advising on cases under the Insolvency Act 1986. Mark regularly provides security and restructuring advice to financier clients.
