Walaiti Rathore
Walaiti Rathore was a partner in a law firm specialising in all aspects of licensing and gambling as well as licensing prosecutions and related regulatory matters before establishing LLC. He acts for independent, multiple and national operators.
He is an experienced advocate and has represented applicants and premises licence holders, both corporate and private, at licensing sub-committee hearings across England and Wales and has dealt with all aspects of licensing appeals to the Magistrates' Court.
Walaiti is experienced in advising licensing sub-committees and acting as their legal advisor at hearings.
Walaiti has worked with the Home Office, delivering training to local and responsible authorities and he regularly speaks at national and regional conferences and licensing training events. He is also a BIIAB approved tutor and provides training to operators.
He is a regional officer for the East Midlands Region of the Institute of Licensing, a member of the Institute of Licensing Alcohol and Entertainment Panel and he is a regional Council member of the BII.
Walaiti contributed to 'Paterson's Licensing Acts' (Butterworths) in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
