Penny Rinta-Suksi
Penny has worked for over 15 years on local government outsourcing, joint ventures and commissioning, leading on leisure, culture, housing and regeneration projects, for which she is known in the market. Starting out with multi-million pound Private Finance Initiative projects for health trusts and then local government, Penny now works on all types of Public Private Partnering models, ranging from intricate corporate structures to the more contractual.
Her role involves getting to the heart of a commercial proposal or partnership; finding the right solution to achieve the commercial objectives/outputs; strategising and devising alternate paths and organising work streams; structuring complex transactions to achieve the desired solution ' for the client or project, dependent on the scope. Penny works with her team to draft the contracts to deliver the solution, dealing with all commercial issues, including finance, security, IP and IT, construction, procurement, employment, pensions and property issues. Penny has an overview of the entire transaction at any one time and coordinates the team to input where required, efficiently, at the right times and within the available budget.
