Sarah Schutte
Sarah Schütte is an independent UK-qualified solicitor-advocate and runs her own legal and training consultancy, Schutte Consulting Limited, based in London, UK, whose motto is "Making law work for the construction and engineering industry". She is also Co-Founder of Peridot Consulting International LLP, a combined legal and commercial consultancy primarily advising on large NEC projects for industry.
Sarah has 20+ qualified years’ experience as a specialist infrastructure lawyer, including 10+ years in-house. She has developed a niche practice in project management and is a technically-accredited PMI-CAPM. She works with all project tiers as a whole life project advisor, and offers training workshops and project facilitation sessions. SCL and PCI clients are based in the UK and internationally. Sarah speaks French, German and Spanish as well as English. In 2024 she qualified as a Mediator and is now growing her small fledgling practice.
Sarah focuses on putting law in its practical and purposive context: she equips her clients with the accurate knowledge and essential skills for confident and competent contract management, which tangibly improve delivery outcomes. Sarah is a regular conference speaker and media commentator, and contributes pro bono to industry initiatives to promote excellence in project delivery and the use of technology to control risk and facilitate governance. She volunteers at PMI and APM amongst other industry bodies, and has just completed 8 years as school governor.
