Igor Simic

Igor Simic is a partner at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier. He co-heads of the firm's antitrust and competition law practice. Since joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Simic has advised international and domestic clients on merger control and antitrust investigation matters under EU and French law. Mr. Simic has extensive experience in merger control, especially in the case of complex transnational operations. He also has experience in antitrust litigation whether it be before European or national competition authorities or before common law judges when actions for damages are brought in courts. Mr. Simic is also highly knowledgeable in the field of State Aid. He has experience representing both the French state and companies to which such aid is granted. Mr. Simic has thorough knowledge of the banking sector as he advised banks during one of the most important national mergers in the French banking industry. Mr. Simic also has extensive experience in the publishing sector and the food-processing industry. He was listed by the Global Competition Review in the '40 under 40' survey.
