Tim Stansfeld
Tim is an associate in the Planning Group, advising both private and public sector clients on a wide range of planning issues, including Compulsory Purchase Orders, section 106 agreements and permitted development.
Tim also advise clients on highways matters, including section 278/38 agreements and stopping up orders. His clients include developers, funds, investors, local authorities, retailers and energy companies, both in and outside of London.
Tim's recent experience includes advising on, drafting and negotiating planning obligations and conditions for major retail developments, acting at inquiries and on judicial review claims, advising major property investors on appeals against refusal of planning permissions for mixed-use development schemes comprising retail, residential and community uses, and advising on planning conditionality in contracts and property documents.
Planning is a complex area of law which is constantly changing and evolving and there is a definitive need for clients to seek specialist planning advice.
