Ed Telepneff
Ed was a planning lawyer for the London Borough of Islington. He has previously worked within planning legal teams at legal 500 and national Law firms.
Ed advises planning officers and councillors on various planning law related issues affecting the borough. This includes planning permissions and section 73 permissions; permitted development and enforcement; planning agreements (s.106); planning conditions; viability in planning; highways agreements and stopping up of public highway; listed buildings and conservation areas; dispute resolution; public inquiries; planning committees; and interpretation and application of planning rules, regulations, policy and guidance.
During his time at LBI Ed has managed some high-profile cases, including Parkhurst Road Ltd v Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government 2018 and challenges to government policy on permitted development rights and affordable housing contributions payable on small sites.
