Amy Tschobotko
Amy advises public bodies including local authorities, regulators and ombudsmen, as well as organisations in the private sector, on public law and regulatory issues. Amy also acts for public bodies in general litigation and judicial review proceedings and has dealt with proceedings in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Amy acted for the Bar Standards Board in relation to a high profile judicial review claim whereby the Quality Assurance Scheme for Advocates was challenged in proceedings which went to the Supreme Court, and also acted for the Law Society and Bar Council in the intervention into the case of R (on the application of Hemming and others) v. Westminster in the Supreme Court.
