Salman Ahmed
Salman is a partner in the Global Islamic Finance Group at Trowers & Hamlins and heads the firm's Islamic finance practice in the Middle East and Africa.
Salman also serves as the co-head of the Islamic securities practice.
Salman has extensive experience as a specialised Islamic finance lawyer. He is regularly cited as a leading practitioner in Islamic finance by, among others, The Legal 500.
His practice is diverse, with emphasis on representing issuers and financial institutions in connection with public and private offerings of securities (domestic and international), as well as representing various corporations and financial institutions on complex domestic and international Islamic finance matters.
His leadership in Islamic finance has put him in the position to comment with significant impact on many important Islamic regulatory developments in the GCC such as the development of Sukuk laws in Jordan.
He is also a frequent speaker and has authored many published articles on various Islamic finance topics.
