Wael Omer Abdin Mohamed
I was born in Khartoum, Sudan in 1976. I studied LLB and LLM at the University of Khartoum, through the Chevening Scholarship I studied LLM in International Business Law from the University of Manchester and I graduated with a Merit in 2006. I also studied International Practice Diploma in International Joint Ventures. In 2007 I was seconded to Dentons via International Lawyers for Africa and I have trained at many City Law Firms such as Allen & Overy, Herbert Smith, Hogan Lovells, Linklaters, Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP), SJ Berwin now SJ Berwin King & Wood Mallesons, Clifford Chance and Mayer Brown.
I founded Sudanese Commercial Law Office - SCLO - in January 2007 www.sclo-sd.com. SCLO grew to become one of the landmark legal service providers in Sudan. We serve multinational companies, international banks, foreign investors, Western Embassies and Sudanese companies and businesses. This ranges from financial sector, manufacturing, healthcare and pharmaceutical, automotive, agriculture and international trade. Recently I qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales. My Practice is now serving international law firms as Sudanese Legal Counsel.
