Anika Chandra

Anika is a partner at Osborne Clarke, where she advises clients on all aspects of employee incentives, including the design and implementation of share plans and cash bonus arrangements, the impact of corporate transactions on share plans and reporting and other compliance obligations.

Anika trained at CMS Cameron McKenna, before moving to Allen & Overy and then to Stephenson Harwood LLP, and then to Shoosmiths as a partner. She joined Osborne Clarke in May 2022. She is described by clients in Chambers & Partners as being 'responsive, direct and clear in her advice' and clients say the following about her: "Anika offers subject matter expertise and deals with challenges impressively" Anika is ranked in Band 2 as an individual. She is also ranked as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 . In recent editions of Legal 500, she has been described by clients as 'very thorough and precise' and 'excellent'.

Anika enjoys a high profile in the share plan industry, regularly speaking at events like the ProShare Employee Share Plans conference. She also Chairs the Executive Committee and sits on the Corporate Governance and Regulatory Committee and the Tax Committee of the Share Plan Lawyers Group.
