Nadia Benzakour

Nadia Benzakour is a legal counsel working mainly in Regulatory Affairs and Competition and Distribution law and Data protection law. She has also been a lecturer in workshops on different topics for the Competition Council.
She works with major international companies having their own interests in Morocco and strong regulatory requirements in different sectors and practice areas including distribution, competition, consumer protection law in Insurance, Food, Alcohol and Tobacco, Transportation, Construction, Health sectors; data protection law; International trade law.
In Morocco, she became a Senior legal counsel in top-tier international business law firms in Casablanca (CMS Law firm, DLA Piper Casablanca) where she was considered as the in-house reference expert in Distribution-Competition and Data protection law in Morocco.
She began her career as a Trade Attaché for the French government in New York City advising French companies investing in the USA and writing business guides among them «How to open a point of sale in New York» award-winning book for Entrepreneurs granted by the Paris ICC.
Nadia post- graduated from Panthéon-Sorbonne University and Panthéon-Assas University (Master’s in Arab countries’ legal system; Master’s in Information Technology law; Master’s in Communication law).
Nadia Benzakour is fluent in French, English and Moroccan Arabic with a good command of Spanish.
