James Sinclair

Senior Legal Counsel, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank

James is a solicitor and Senior Legal Counsel at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, specialising in derivatives and bespoke structured solutions. Prior to this role he worked in the Macro, Credit and Risk Solutions legal teams at Barclays investment bank from 2011-19.

James started his career at Allen & Overy LLP where he trained, qualified and practiced in the derivatives and structured finance team, and had the opportunity to complete secondments at Credit Suisse and RBS. During his years of practice, he has accumulated a wide range of financial legal experience, with a particular focus on FX, Rates and Credit derivatives, EU regulation, structured notes, and distressed debt trading. James has been an active participant in many industry groups and has a particular interest in pro bono and CSR.
