Abby Brown

Abby is a Professional Support Lawyer for Ogier's dispute resolution teams in Guernsey and Jersey.

Abby trained at the insurance dispute resolution firm Kennedys before moving to Guernsey in 2004. She qualified as an advocate in February 2009 and was a partner in private practice before moving into professional support.

With her wealth of hands-on experience, Abby assists Ogier's dispute resolution teams in both Channel Islands by drafting in-house precedents, external client briefings, internal training guides and legal updates, external seminars and delivering internal legal training.

Abby was recommended by the Legal 500 for dispute resolution in 2014 & 2015. While in private practice she has represented numerous clients in a range of matters including trust litigation, commercial litigation, employment law, medical negligence, personal injury and matrimonial matters. She has appeared regularly before the various courts in Guernsey, up to and including the Guernsey Court of Appeal.
