After 20 years in Chancery and Commercial Chambers in Leeds, Patrick spent 17 years with international law firm Squire Patton Boggs dealing with property and a wide variety of commercial cases. He was appointed as a part time Judge, Recorder (Civil) and Deputy High Court Judge.

He worked as a mediator part time until 2016 after which he has worked full time mediating throughout the country. He has an excellent reputation as a pragmatic and effective mediator and is consistently ranked in the first tier in both Legal 500 and Chambers Directories.

Alongside property law, Patrick mediates a wide variety of disputes including professional negligence, commercial contract, partnership, trusts and probate, share purchase agreements etc.
