Natalie has expertise in litigation and arbitration involving banking and financial services, insolvency, trust, contractual, partnership, shareholder and commercial disputes. She has a particular specialism in fraud and asset recovery and has acted on some high profile multi-jurisdictional asset tracing cases and has a wide range experience of using civil law remedies such as search orders, injunctions, freezing orders, Norwich Pharmacal orders and charging orders in order to assist in the recovery of assets.

Her career highlights include:

  • A multi-jurisdictional asset tracing case including obtaining extensive Worldwide Freezing, Search, Disclosure and Passport Surrender Orders in one of Russia’s biggest ever bank frauds, a case involving a Russian bank freezing the defendant’s worldwide assets up to £1.34 billion.
  • Maintaining a €225m freezing order in support of arbitrations and related High Court proceedings with counterclaims against additional defendants involving allegations of conspiracy and fraud.
  • Acting on one of The Lawyer top 20 cases of 2014 involving the Blue Skye Investment Group which was facing allegations of inter alia fraud, conspiracy and unlawful interference.
  • Acting for a Trustee in bankruptcy in the largest fraudulent investment (Ponzi) scheme to hit Jamaica.
