Kate Habershon

Kate Habershon heads the tax practice in Morgan Lewis' London office, and forms part of the global tax practice, as well as being part of the global investment management practice. She advises corporations and funds on corporate taxation (direct and indirect taxes), with an emphasis on international transactions. Her focuses include tax and structuring issues related to international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private investment funds, private equity, executive compensation, internal group restructurings, and financial products. Typical clients include sponsors of private equity funds, multinational corporations, mid-market businesses and investors in private investment funds. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis Kate worked with other international law firms, including a four year period spent working in tax in Sydney, Australia.
