Alice Bricogne enjoys a multifaceted and international practice, encompassing regulatory, criminal, human rights, sports, and health and safety law.
In addition to appearing regularly in Crown Courts, Magistrates’ Courts and Youth Courts across England, Alice has worked in two offshore jurisdictions, spent three months at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, and appeared in two appeals to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland as well as before the National Anti-Doping Panel in London.

Her particular expertise lies in matters of financial regulation, litigation and white-collar crime. Alice has acquired considerable experience of issues involving AML, CFT, corporate governance and risk management as a result of assisting with a highly confidential financial regulatory investigation for an offshore regulator, as well as through assisting in the defence of a company subject to enforcement action by another offshore regulator. Alice has also advised on the application and implications of the Bribery Act 2010; assisted with the defence of directors being pursued by liquidators, and separately with the defence of a multi-million pound MTIC fraud; and become proficient in the complexities of confiscation proceedings through working at the CPS Proceeds of Crime Unit.
