Kai Neuhaus
Kai Neuhaus is a partner in CMS’s competition and trade law team. In trade law he advises and represents companies in all trade law proceedings before the European Commission and the German authorities such as BAFA, Bundesbank, or the BMWi as well as the European Court of Justice and German courts. Kai regularly represents sellers or buyers in German investment control reviews and coordinates multinational investment control proceedings. He was involved in numerous complex phase 2 cases involving the negotiation of mitigation agreements. He also has long-standing experience with EU trade defence laws and in particular in anti-dumping cases. He regularly advises clients on EU embargos, trade sanctions and on EU and national export control, where he has also substantial experience as a defence counsel. Since many years Kai is a "frequently recommended" trade law expert in the leading German legal directory "JUVE".
